BWARS AGM and Members’ Weekend 8 & 9 OCTOBER 2016 - National Museum Cardiff
The BWARS Committee invite all our members to join us at Cardiff Museum on Saturday 8th October and/or Sunday 9th October for the BWARS AGM and members’ weekend.
The BWARS members’ weekend is a great opportunity to meet up with friends – old and new. The official business is conducted at the AGM on Sunday but the meeting is mainly informal.
As in previous years, on Saturday there will be a number of workshops for members. The number of places at the workshops is limited by the number of microscopes and space allocated to us at the venue, so please book early.
The BWARS AGM will be held on Sunday morning: The Officers of the Committee give reports covering the past year and new Officers are elected by the members present. If there are any issues that you would like to raise at the AGM, please contact the Secretary (catherinemjones7@gmail.com) by12th September, to allow time for them to be included in the agenda.
On Sunday afternoon there will be presentations, which we hope will interest all members. If members wish present any photographs that would be of interest to other members, please contact the Secretary as soon as possible.
To book a place at the BWARS AGM and Members’ weekend, please email the Secretary (catherinemjones7@gmail.com) advising whether you would like to attend:
- The AGM and presentations on Sunday 9th October and/or
- The workshops on Saturday 8th October (Please note: the number of places is limited) and/or
- The evening meal on Saturday 8th October (Please note: we will make a group booking for the meal but this is paid for on an individual basis).
You are responsible for finding your own accommodation.
