Probably occurs in a wide variety of habitats including Fenland, Moorland, Heathland, Sand dunes and Deciduous Trees (Hazel, Oak).

Flight period

Adults are active during June, also May, sometimes July and rarely August.

Prey collected

Acting as a parasitoid/predator on Idiocerinae, Cicadellidae (Leaf Hoppers). Hosts in Britain: Populicerus populi (Linnaeus).
