Probably occurs in a wide variety of habitats including Parkland, Fenland, Moorland, Heathland, Calcareous Grassland and Open Woodland.

Flight period

Adults are mainly active during June, also May and July, rarely April, August and September.


Prey collected

Acting as a parasitoid/predator on Idiocerinae, Cicadellidae (Leaf Hoppers). Hosts in Britain: Populicerus populi (Linnaeus).
